So as you may have gathered I am back in the U.S. I made it back after over 40 hours of travel. I made it all the way back to Anchorage with no delays, but then had to sleep in the airport. My 10 hour flight from London to Chicago was great. I was fed three meals, four+ rounds of drinks (including free alcohol), and watched three movies. In contrast, my seven hour flight from Chicago to Anchorage flight included 0 free meals and only a couple rounds of drinks.
I have been back for about seven weeks now. I have finally gotten back into the flow, and have also done some traveling around Alaska. Here are some photos of my journeys.
This was one of my many meals served on my London to Chicago flight. I was slightly skeptical of the "Dairystix," but used it anyway.

While I truly miss Geneva, I am very happy to be back. I hope that at least one person (you know who you are) is happy to have me back on their google reader! More posts to come soon.
