We Are...Penn State!

The last month has been an interesting one in Penn State's history.  "We Are.. Penn State" is a common cheer on campus, which has taken on a whole new meaning, as the school begins to explore its past...and determines its future.

I won't share my thoughts on the situation here, but below are images, mostly from the week following the scandal breaking.  Here's what I saw, from a student's perspective.

Students camped out for first row seat in the student's section.  This tent city has been referred to as "Paternoville."

First game after the scandal...and the first game since 1966 without Joe Pa as head coach.

Penn State and the visiting team, Nebraska, intermingle on the field.

The Penn State Student Section "S" was accompanied by a "Stop Child Abuse" ribbon to the left

There was a heavy police presence at the game.  A bomb threat was also reported.

Tailgating!  Notice that these are not actually parking lots, but fields marked with spots for tailgating.
