Goodbye Oregon, Hello California.

Mid afternoon yesterday I left Portland for San Francisco, via the overnight train.  I opted not to get the sleeper car, and attempted to sleep in my reclining seat.  This worked well for a couple of hours, until the police boarded our train car (the caboose) at midnight to remove an unruly and intoxicated passenger.  Needless to say, I did really sleep much again and I have been wide awake since I switched trains at Sacramento at 5:45 a.m.  However, I am in SUNNY San Francisco.  So life is good.
